The association has approximately 1,500 members, from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Holland and USA.<br \/>\nThe Swedish Knife Association would like to <strong>offer<\/strong> you <strong>an opportunity<\/strong> to join the organization whose purpose is to <strong>advance<\/strong> knife making in all aspects and at all levels, which includes but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Knife design<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Tradition<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Material selection<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Manufacturing methods<\/li>\n<li>Knife competition rules, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Furthermore, members have the opportunity to attend <strong>trade shows<\/strong>, <strong>competitions<\/strong> and<strong> seminars<\/strong>, as well\u00a0as meet other knife makers to share experiences and exchange ideas in the art of knife making.<br \/>\nOur Association&#8217;s <strong>membership offer<\/strong> includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Member magazine, Knivmakaren; published four times a year and contains several\u00a0\u00a0 articles, images.<\/li>\n<li>Yearly knife making school with provides information and illustrations on how to make a knife from scratch to a finished work.<\/li>\n<li>Discounted member prices on courses arranged by the association.<\/li>\n<li>Access to timely information and rewarding discussions on our website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition you will find information on this website regarding knife competitions, regional knife shows and<strong> links to<\/strong> other knife clubs, skilled knife makers and suppliers of materials. <strong>Thank you for visiting our web site.
